Chesk this old picture out. Amazing line up there, Dan Rees, Boulala and Joel Curtis stood outside Sumo back in August 2000. Dan used to ride for Sumo back in the day and he hit me up on MySpace the other day, top bloke and we're waiting for him to come see the shop. Come on Rees.

That Bowl Looks Expensive Man

Henry, Yapski, Howsey and Greg of Concrete Poets fame were up at the weekend filming for their video. Why? you may ask, well here's one reason, Shaun who moved up to Sheffield recently and rips and tends to say the wrong thing to security guards. oooooops. Anyway it was a rad weekend and nuff skating was done as well as a few run ins with not so nice security guards. Expect to see them up this way again in the future.


We're still waiting on the new Story hoods so keep checking the online store for those, they should be in any day now. It's the truth....

The Fellowship is Alive and Kicking

We just received a stack of all the New Blueprint stuff and the Pro Series is looking very Strong, Pro boards at £44.99 and Team boards at £39.99. The new wheels look hot too with a new Infinity Wheel which is £14.99 and the new Fellowship Pro Wheels at £24.99 these being on the higher quality Urethane Blueprint use.

Speaking of Blueprint, Story and Blueprint rider Paul Shier is back out in LA getting some nice weather and supping on a 40oz. He's been hanging out with Diddler who's living the high life too (for those of you who remember Diddler). If you happen to be out in LA you may bump into Shier so say what's up.

Jumping Joel Schmetz

We just recieved these lovely new Landscape decks along with some re-stock of older models. Joel whose an O.G Sheffield head is one of 3 pros with new boards out, the others being Snowy and Soy as well as a guest board from Bobby Puleo. Speaking of Puleo we just got the new Traffic DVD in which is rather good as well as The Learning Curve and Viewfinder all at a fiver. Lastly the new Heroin decks also came in but the Monster cruiser board flew straight out so you'll have to make do with what we have left. All the mentioned will be available online as you read this or very soon after, or you could always call us at the store on 0114 2762303 to place any order. We will be clearing out some old styles from Lakai, DVS, Emerica, E's and Emerica for £25 a pair and a bargain bin full of £10 bargains, this is in-store only though so get on it.

Lastly we will be stocked up with new Story hoodies next week with 2 new designs so keep your eyes and ears peeled for those, these will be followed with a bunch of new tee's with new and old designs so there's something for everyone. Queenie is a busy lass.

Rovers Return

Story team riders Baines, Shier and Jerome are back on British soil with Brady going back to his home for the next 3 months of Barcelona. Reports suggest that the food was bob on at the Rovers Return and the weather was pretty much amazing the whole time, although Jerome had a bit of a telling off from this guy


for not pulling his weight round the villa. Doesn't know he's born that lad.

In store we've been pretty quiet in the new product department in the last week waiting for deliveries to drop but over the next week or two we're expecting a bunch of stuff from DVS, Lakai, Nike SB, Blueprint, Heroin and Landscape as well as the new "The Learning Curve" and Traffic dvds.

Can't Fault The Flare

New in store today we have the Lakai Howard Select at £44.99, 2 new colorways in the MJ3's which are both £49.99 and Kost One which is £64.99. Who dare rock the purple MJs we think they rule.
Whilst we're on a Lakai tip, Story and Lakai team rider Danny Brady is off to Barcelona for a couple of months to finish off filming his section for the Lakai video, he will join his Story team mates Paul, Jerome and Mark in Mallorca on Saturday as well for a 10 day filming mission on the lovely island. He's got a busy schedule our Brady has so if you happen to see him in Barcelona say what's up and join him for a cup of tea, he deserves one.

Story team rider Josh Kerr has broken his ankle just weeks after breaking his arm.
We all wish you a speedy recovery Josh and you can come to the shop for a bag of goodies to cheer you up. If you see him wish him well...
